Aida Ayong

When I read about your "Singles Friday" announcement, I thought immediately of my friend Aida. I know Greece is outside US, but I was still determined to post her name on your blog. I have been since shortly a frequent reader of your blog and I love really what you write. And I totally agree that God has his ways. And this is one of His ways.
So, here is her story.

Aida Ayong is my high school friend. She is 49 years old and presently working in Athens, Greece for 8 years now. She is shy (I think one of the reason why she is still alone until this time) but she is sweet, caring, very loyaal, has a soft character and a real dear friend when you get to know her.

Aida is originally from the Philippines and has been living abroad for 14 years. If anyone wants more information or finds her interesting, please contact me or leave a comment and I will see to it that she gets it. Thank you.

Keukenhof

KEUKENHOF is the world's biggest garden, also known as Garden of Europe according to WIKIPEDIA. It is situated in Lisse, Netherlands and has 7 million flowerbulbs (tulips, daffodils and hyacinths) planted each year which covered the area of 32 hectares.

 According to the official Keukenhof website, the first bulb will be planted on October 18, 2012.

I Love You

How many times do we say "I love you" to the one we love?
How many times we touch someone to show we care?
How many times we feel so lonely when we are apart?
Yes, those times are countless, because, when you love someone so dearly,
the urge is always there to say those lovely words, to caress and to feel the emptiness.

Friendship

Yet, we have to give and take. Friendship doesn't go on just one side.
We should share the ups and downs, the sadness and happiness together.
Because most of the time we tend to forget our friendship when everything is just going fine.

A Day's Out To The Orchids Farm

De Orchideeën Hoeve (orchids farm) is about an hour drive from my place. It is the biggest tropical garden in Europe. It has more than 2.000 kinds of orchids, lots of fishes, Iguanas and thousands of butterflies.

There are various kinds of Bromellias too...beautiful and colourful Bromellias.

The tropical garden gives some ideas on how to start an orchids orchards. I have taken pictures of them and I hope you will find it useful.

My Summer Garden

Spring time came and soon will be the summer! Oh yes, we need more sunshine. Well, the sun shined once in a while and summer came much later. It was 3rd week of July when these pictures were taken...it was high summer and everything were in bloom:). Beautiful! This is my friend Lorena, she came to visit me.
